Project

SSAB’s project in Sweden represents a major step toward fossil-free steel production, using green hydrogen as a key enabler in replacing traditional carbon-intensive processes. By integrating a high-capacity electrolyzer powered through reliable DC supply from KraftPowercon’s PowerKraft rectifiers, the solution ensures stable and efficient hydrogen production. This approach supports the transition to sustainable steel manufacturing while maintaining the performance and reliability required for large-scale industrial operations.
